Not Indian Summer

We're enjoying some nice September weather. After our crappy Summer (especially July), I think we've deserved this.
Only recently a Belgian film journalist reporting on the Festival des Films du Monde here in Montreal mentioned the nice Indian Summer. NEWSFLASH: This isn't an Indian Summer, this is STILL Summer.

There is a common misconception (in Europe) about what exactly the Indian Summer is. First of all: it has to be after September 21st (technically Fall), a ground frost must have occurred and you need a couple of days of +21C weather. You never know when the Indian Summer will happen, until it hits you. Sometimes it doesn't come at all.

My first real Indian Summer was 10y ago in Saskatchewan. I was visiting T. around the end of October. One day we were enjoying a nice stroll in the park in tees, the next day we were hit by a blizzard.

So for now we'll continue to enjoy our REAL summer with some homemade Moules-Frites!

Ps: check out the latest issue of Pas Uit Magazine!

Tof om jullie avonturen ook te lezen in dit fantastische land! Idd veel gelijklopende situaties!
Wij hebben nog geen seconde spijt dat we hier zijn.
